JA Woods was the coach company we hired to deliver all the transport needs of our recent residential summer school at The University of Hull Scarborough Campus. We sometimes made complex and challenging demands with multiple pick-ups and changing times. JA Woods delivered a perfect service and went the 'extra mile' to ensure everything went to plan. I can heartily recommend them. Get hold of the main man - Niel - he will make sure you get great customer service. Well done JA Woods!
I had booked several trips with Neil of J.A.Wood for a group of 19 German hikers who did different tours around the North York Moors. Neil was always on time or even early and very flexible when we had to be "rescued" because we finished our hiking tours earlier than planned. I can recommend this excellent service and will definitely book again for the next trip to this area.
We used the minibus to take us, a group of 18 year olds to Hull docks, the driver knew where we wanted to be and even joined in with the banter on the way. The efficient service is definitely worth mentioning as I was supplied with everything I needed promptly. Both drivers were very friendly, even when we strolled back onto the coach after a somewhat heavy weekend... I would recommend this coach service to anybody planning an excursion, there is nothing I can say but how great this coach hire is. We intend to use the company again in future, superb.
Thank you, Neil and JA Wood Coaches, for a very professional service. We came from Dublin and got our airport/hotel transfers, plus hiring a bus for a day trip to Whitby, all without any hassle or trouble. Thanks for the little diversion to give us the best view of Scarborough... Much appreciated. Kind Regards from Cathy R and the Dancers from Dublin.
I recently hired Neil to collect a group from Leeds/Bradford airport who were travelling from Dublin to Scarborough. I also arranged for a group of 57 to go to Whitby for the day whilst we were staying in Scarborough. His professional approach, excellent customer service skills and competitive prices were second to none. I would highly recommend his coach company.
We are a fairly new theatre group and after ringing round various companies we found JA Wood who were very competitive price wise. Neil is extremely helpful, pleasant and good fun. The coach is comfortable and clean. We have been to the Alhambra in Bradford and the Theatre Royal in York. Both times Neil has been on time and gone the extra mile to accommodate pickups and drop offs, nothing seems to be too much trouble. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Laraine
Emmanuel St John's Church Leisure & Pleasure Group enjoyed a pleasant and comfortable journey to and from Goathland on Thursday June 7th 2012. We appreciated Neil's friendly and courteous assistance which made for an enjoyable afternoon. We can recommend J A Wood Coaches. Joan, Secretary.
I ran a trip to Harrogate in November and JA Wood did a good job. The coach was on time, it was clean and the driver was pleasant. Will certainly use them again.
We used JA Wood Coaches for our residential trip to and from Scarborough, as well as day trips to Filey and Whitby. The service provided was prompt and friendly and we will definitely be booking again next year. Many thanks to Neil from all at Rawmarsh Ashwood School
